We are seeking a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant in Residential Aged Care to join our team on a part time basis. 40 HOURS per fortnight is being offered, flexible times.
Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant works as a member of the multidisciplinary residential aged care team to provide individual and group leisure and lifestyle activities that are resident centred and responsive to their individual interests and needs.
The successful candidate will hold a minimum Certificate III Individual support, Certificate III Leisure and health or a similar relevant qualification, or willingness to work towards.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated experience delivering a range of leisure and lifestyle activities, preferably within an aged care
setting. - Ability to adapt and respond to residents’ needs.
- Good communication skills including written, verbal and computer skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- An ability to build rapport and trust with aged care residents
- Ability to demonstrate the highest level of customer service.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise and adapt
