Hesse Hearts of Gold Fundraiser

Due to unforeseen circumstances and unfortunate scheduling conflicts, the Hesse Hearts of Gold Fundraiser planned for the 28th October will now take place on the 25th May 2024.
The cocktail style fundraising event is being held at Barwon Park Mansion, to raise funds for Hesse Rural Health’s Winchelsea Op Shop Rebuild Appeal. This change in date allows for the coinciding celebrations taking place to recognise over 150 years since Barwon Park Mansion was first constructed.
The Winchelsea Op Shop, which was lost to fire in November 2020, was a facility which provided a hub for passionate volunteers and customers, and directed significant funds raised to the benefit of Hesse Rural Health each year. Hesse aims to rebuild the Op Shop at 44 Main Street Winchelsea, increasing the shops size and capacity, in order to continue to provide a community hub for the growing Winchelsea community, as well as raising much needed funds for our health service – a service we all rely on! A ticket to this fundraiser includes a donation to the Rebuild Appeal, a gift that will keep on giving through future fundraising by the new Op Shop year after year.

Please join us on Saturday 25th May 2024 for a night of entertainment and glamour to support the Winchelsea Op Shop Rebuild Appeal. Starting on the front lawn of Barwon Park from 5.30pm, where you will be presented on arrival with cocktails and entertainment by the Geelong College String Quartet, while taking in the grandeur of Barwon Park Mansion.
Tickets are available for purchase exclusively via TryBooking, at $250 per ticket. Ticket holders will have the pleasure of a cocktail on arrival, a private viewing of the mansion, a cocktail style culinary journey provided by Lady & the Fox, all-inclusive drinks provided by local suppliers (bubbles, wine and beer), ongoing entertainment and onsite parking. Courtesy buses will be running for interested parties from key neighbouring locations. Expressions of interest in a seat on the courtesy bus can be expressed when booking your ticket via TryBooking. All guests are encouraged to wear cocktail attire.
The night will feature the musical talents of the seven-piece band ‘Chunky Jam’ and the humour of Channel 7 entertainer and personality, John Deeks.
All current ticket holders for October 28th will be offered to select from a full refund, or an opportunity to receive a partial refund and rebook for the May 25th fundraising event.
Hesse apologises for any inconvenience caused and express our thanks to our dedicated community, current ticket holders and support of our current sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities remain open, all enquiries should be directed to Hesse Rural Health via email hesse@hesse.vic.gov.au
