We have three beautiful locations in Winchelsea and they are all close to shopping centres, public transport, cafes and only a short drive to either Geelong or Colac for all medical requirements.

Hesse Rural Health’s highly regarded residential facilities in Winchelsea provides a welcoming environment that residents call home.

Hesse has adopted a philosophy of care and understands the need for privacy, dignity and respect for individual choice. Our person centred care model encourages residents to thrive.

The complex offers 60 places, with care ranging from high level and dementia specific care through to low level care.

With local general practitioners and registered nurses playing their part in an extensive team of committed staff, Hesse provides stimulating leisure and lifestyle programs and a range of group and individual activities.

Home cooked meals on site, along with magnificent gardens, comfortable and stylish furnishings, and an array of art and decorations, completes the effort to supply homely surroundings and state of the art care.

Hesse Rural Health Consumer & Community Advisory Committee is an active group with representation from our Hospital Auxiliary, Resident and Carers Group, Volunteers as well as health consumers.
The committee ensures Hesse keeps consumers at the centre of care at both the strategic level and at the individual patient level & is a partnership between the health professionals and the resident, client or patient.
Families can really play an enormous role in ensuring Hesse delivers nothing less than very best care.
We know that community and consumer involvement in health services leads to better health outcomes and that is what we want for our community.
