Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists assess, diagnose and treat people with movement problems, helping people avoid or recover from injury and assisting them to maintain a fit and healthy body. Sports and other injuries, back and neck pain and physical problems related to the ageing process can all benefit from physiotherapy.

Physiotherapy is available from Winchelsea, Bannockburn, Rokewood, Beeac and Moriac Community Health Centres and is open to members of the community.

For appointments, telephone Hesse Rural Health on 5267 1200.

A physiotherapy service also operates for the aged residential care service.

This program is partly funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services. Visit the Department of Social Services website (www.dss.gov.au) for more information.
