Volunteers

The health service is supported by approximately fifty volunteers who make a valuable contribution in a variety of ways including friendly visiting to aged residents, participation in Planned Activity Group (PAG) programs, supporting outings and volunteer driving to appointments and community programs and being active members of our Consumer and Community Advisory Committee.

The role that volunteers can play within the organisation is endless and restricted only by our imagination. Often a skill that may be shared can lead to a fulfilling contribution.

Hesse Rural Health Consumer & Community Advisory Committee is an active group with representation from our Hospital Auxiliary, Resident and Carers Group, Volunteers as well as health consumers.

For further information or to discuss ways that you can contribute please contact Hesse Rural Health on 03 5267 1200.
